Riedel Glassware and Accessories

The Riedel Company originated in Bohemia in the 1600s and later moved to its current home in Kufstein, Austria.  With every successive generation, the business would evolve and be molded by the needs of the market.  In 1756, the first Riedel factory was established. Throughout Riedel’s history, their products have ranged from window panes and glass beads to luxury goods such as chandeliers, jewelry, ornate glassware and accessories.  It has only been in the last century that Riedel has specialized in the hand-blown glassware products that we enjoy on our tables today. Many tiers of Riedel exist and we are proud to carry a large assortment from their high-end crystal Sommeliers series to their very popular "O" stemless line.

Riedel Wine coaster – keep your surface clean and protected with one of three coaster designs.

Riedel glass cleaning cloth – microfiber crystal cleaning cloth, scratch-free, removes grease and dries at the same time.

Riedel bottle and decanter cleaning beads – stainless steel pellets that remove all residues from the bottom of a bottle or decanter.

Care
All glassware products can be hand-washed and left to dry on a paper towel.  To polish, use the Riedel microfiber cleaning cloth.  Using a cloth in each hand, hold the glass by its bowl to polish so that the stem does not snap.

All Riedel glassware containing lead is porous and breathable and should never be washed in the dishwasher or cleaned with heavy soap as they will retain perfume and can interfere with a wine’s taste. Any glassware placed in the dishwasher is washed at the owners’ risk.
